Feel Ready, Be Ready
Walk onto any set with confidence.
This two-day workshop is for actors who want to feel prepared, comfortable, and in control on a professional set - whether it’s your first day or your fiftieth. We’ll share the tools, tips, and behind-the-scenes know - how that working actors use every day - without the pressure or the guesswork.
What We’ll Cover and What You Can Ask
We’ve got a plan, but we’ll stay flexible—so if you have questions, we’ll follow them. This is a space where nothing’s too small or too obvious to ask. Topics we’ll explore include:
How to make a self-tape that stands out
Who to contact once you’ve booked the job
How to read a call sheet (and not feel lost)
Where to sit, when to speak, and how to find your place on set
How to talk with the director—and when to just do the work
What blocking and rehearsal actually mean (and how they change)
The intricacies of camera, continuity, and working with the crew
How to communicate clearly and professionally with everyone around you
Learn how to network.
Ask Us Anything. Seriously!
This is a judgment-free space. If you’ve ever thought, “I should probably know this already…”—this is the class for you. We’re here to answer the questions you’ve been too afraid to ask, and help you feel ready for anything a set might throw your way.
